The Lower School of Lotus Academy consists of grades first, second, third, and fourth. It is a preparatory program for middle school and beyond that builds superior academic skills, study habits, and character.

The core courses are reading, language arts, science, social studies, and math. Lower School students are also exposed to a variety of elective courses instructed by specialists in world languages, music, drama, art, digital multimedia, library skills, and physical education.

In all of their classes, Lower School students are provided with abundant opportunities to explore, question, observe, and test their knowledge. There is a great deal of individualized attention and small group activity.

Our students are afforded the opportunity to demonstrate and display their learning and achievement to their family and community at numerous events throughout the year. Some of these events include the Spotlight on Young Artists, Science Expo, and the Oratorical Contest.
